Dab Rite Go Review

Dab Rite's latest creation is redesigned for the future of hash.

If you smoke rosin in 2026, then you know Dab Rite is a sesh table staple that’s also expanded into hosting its own nationwide contest series.

Dab Rite’s temperature readers are among the top names in the game, and the company has released collab models with names like Trevy Metal, The Waterboyz, The Real Cannabis Chris, Darby Homes Glass, and Wookerson Studios.

Dab Rite’s latest creation takes the brand in a new direction by redesigning the look and feel while introducing a new role for its mobile interface.

Traditional Dab Rite and Dab Rite Pro models are a three-piece setup: a base, a positionable arm, and a sensor area that you’d point at your quartz. Over the years, a wide variety of attachments and accessories have let users customize their units like a family car. This new design reshapes the existing aesthetic into a sleek, metallic orb with a front that rolls forward and back like an eyeball. The front features a temperature sensor, OLED display, and LED light bars. It’s the kind of thing you see in a sci-fi movie that scans for shapeshifting aliens.

The upgraded multi-point sensor array reads and registers 768 data points from 3-5 inches away, allowing a wider section of your banger or slurper to be read instead of a focused beam. Color-coded LEDs alert to changes in temperature range, and the travel case houses a magnetic charging base. This case is also 1/3rd the size of the previous case, making it easy to slip in your bag. Those who rely on the telltale sounds of the Dab Rite will be happy to know audio alerts can be sent to your phone, though we suspect most people will watch for the color-coded cues to determine when to dab.

Connecting your unit to the app is pretty straightforward and lets you customize the sounds and other basic options. This is the one place where we felt Dab Rite needs to advance things a bit more. There are 3 very basic, visually mediocre interface settings to scroll through, and the sound upload process is still a little clunky. For this new 2026 redesign, we expect a more futuristic or professional interface, though we did love the Fallout-esque setting. The interface feels like the easiest thing to re-skin and customize, so we suspect Dab Rite will make it a more evolving part of the experience moving forward.

Dab Rite Go is a much smoother on-the-go experience than previous models. Temperature-wise, the initial heat tests went quite well, even in full sun. There’s a temperature shift from one side to the other since you’re scanning a section in front of the sensor, but you can position it below the slurper if you prefer.

In terms of an update, the GO is a substantial changeup from the already exceptional PRO model and something existing Dab Rite users will for sure want to step up into. For someone getting into their product ecosystem, this combines the practicality of an at-home unit with the form of a true travel unit.
