Treehouse dispensary is owned and operated by the Sandhu brothers — Manwinder, Jagroop and Manroop — who are all Parkville locals. They put in a single application for a Social Equity Cannabis license and got it, eventually opening the doors to the public on April 13. Despite the many challenges faced by local Cannabis business owners, it’s great to see that equity licenses are coming to fruition and being utilized in an authentic way. Be sure to stop by the store and see what new deals they have coming up the next time you’re in Parkville!

Setting and Vibe
Treehouse has brought a fresh look to a familiar space after renovating the interior to a more open and approachable store layout. The employees bring some major knowledge to the patients and adult-use customers they serve, with each and every one of them having three to five years of experience as budtenders. The store plans to expand its offerings to a drive-thru window for those of you looking to buzz by and grab some products. Even so, customers are encouraged to come inside and form relationships with the staff and owners.
Flower
The flower menu is stacked with dozens of options, covering all the areas, including terpene profiles, high testers and hype drops happening in Maryland. The dispensary had 12 different Fade Co. strains in stock during our visit, including E85 Runtz, Dank Dough, LA Pop Rocks and way more. Their preroll selection is also stellar for a quick grab-and-go smoke option. Five-packs, two-packs and individual one-gram prerolls can all be found on the menu regularly.

Concentrates
Having just opened, Treehouse is working on building out its concentrate menu. The dispensary had some Strawberry Jelly Kief available from Nature’s Heritage, as well as Fruit Gushers THCA Diamonds from Beezle while we were there.
Edibles
One of the main things we look for when evaluating a dispensary’s edible offerings is variety. Both in the forms of edible types (gummies, chocolates, baked goods, tinctures, candies, taffy and more), and in the variation of cannabinoid ratios. The menu here covered it all, offering the newest items to the Maryland market while maintaining an inventory of the staple products many of us patients keep in our repertoire.

Product Review
BL^CK MRKT G-Funk
Total Cannabinoids: 27.87%
Total Terpenes: 3.16%
An in-house cut from BL^CK MRKT, G-Funk crosses OG and Skunk in a hybrid that takes us back to the good old days. The aroma has a skunky, earthy OG essence with gassy undertones that are loud and funky. The buds are bright green, with light orange pistils surrounding the structure from top to bottom. After smoking a joint of this flower, I had a calm feeling throughout my body, and my headspace was in a comfortable place.
