Shop Review: Kent Reserve

A down-to-earth, homey store vibe is what keeps customers feeling welcomed and returning time and time again.

In the quaint town of Millington, Kent Reserve has been setting its roots in the community since opening in April 2025. They were the No. 1 grant proprietorship in the social equity program as a business owned and operated by women. With so many years of experience in the Maryland Cannabis industry, general manager Samantha Erwood has brought the store to life since day one. Perfectly nestled on the route from Baltimore to Ocean City, Kent Reserve is the perfect place to stop on your way to the shore.

Setting and Vibe

A down-to-earth, homey store vibe is what keeps customers feeling welcomed when visiting and returning time and time again. As a dispensary owned by Marylanders, you can feel good about where you’re spending your money. This is also the only Cannabis store within close to an hour of any other shop in the state, serving a majorly underserved area. There are several product displays that employees can walk customers through to get them more familiar with the product. The education level of the staff helps patients and customers make educated decisions about what they want and need.

Flower

The amount of variety in flower offerings here is outstanding; close to 200 different strain options were available during our visit. Their wide array of products from Fade Co, SunMed Growers and Find are what struck me as unique on this menu. Grandi Runtz A, Permanent Marker, Baby Turtle, Afternoon Delight #4 and Lava Lamp are just a few of the strains that got me fired up for a joint after our tour. Having this many options puts the choice in the hands of the customer, eliminating having to settle for a certain strain when they had something specific on their mind.

Concentrates

One thing this dispensary does to give back to the industry is offer employees of Green Thumb Industries, Vireo Health and SunMed 30% off. The abundance of concentrate options the store has goes far and wide, with a form and extraction method for everyone. Hydrocarbon extracts, solventless concentrates, terp sap droppers and, of course, vape carts can be found in over 70 different strains on the menu.

Edibles

If you can think of it, odds are this store has it on its edibles menu. I was thrilled to see chocolate truffles from Lux Cannabis Confections, something that we haven’t seen around for quite some time. Something I’ve been using for stomach issues lately are the Gut 4:1 Citrus Ginger Chews from Curio Wellness. When I’m having digestion troubles, I take two of those, and within the next hour, my worries are in the past.

Product Review

Evermore Cannabis Company
Huckleberry Soda #5 Live Resin Cake Badder
Total cannabinoids: 86.60%
Total terpenes: 8.73%

Crossing Black Cherry Soda and Huckleberry Hound creates a delicious sparkling blackberry flavor that makes itself known both in the aroma and on the exhale. This is a strain to keep in your inventory. Evermore Cannabis Company phenotyped this one out and found the most expressive version of the strain. A perfectly balanced hybrid, I can smoke this at any time of day to get to my happy place.
