The Cannabis flavor barely makes it through, which is a plus for those who prefer their edibles sans the herbaceousness often associated with infused foods. Texture-wise, these remind me of little bites and provide a lovely feeling of nostalgia. My sweet spot was two of the five pieces in a pack – putting me in a perfect state of mind to slip away to sleep.

Each one of these flavors is nothing short of tantalizing, making it hard to decide which one was my favorite. All three of them are caramel-filled, but when you look at the bottom of each piece you’ll notice crumbles of almonds and what appears to be smashed coffee beans. Lux is making waves on the market here in Maryland – expect to see them in more dispensaries as time goes on, as they’re definitely an edible to keep an eye out for.

The milk chocolate varieties from Encore include both sativa and indica options, and the dark chocolate version is a 1:1 ratio of THC:CBN. Knowing CBN’s reputation for helping with sleep, I definitely found myself going back to the dark chocolate sea salt before bedtime. The individual wrapping of each chocolate in the package is a plus, making them easy to transport without worrying about making a mess. One chocolate was the perfect amount to get me into a relaxed headspace.

Nostalgia is the name of the game with these tasty bites of goodness – bringing a softened-chocolate consistency and slight crunchiness that really takes me back. The Cannabis flavor is masked nicely and I found myself digging into each bag multiple times, but the Neapolitan’s classic blend of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla was especially enticing. Just two bites had me flirting with euphoria … perfect for putting a sparkle on holiday festivities.

Dixie is a brand that has stayed around since the beginning of the Cannabis market here thanks to Curio Wellness. These chocolates are gluten-free, dairy-free, peanut-free and contain all-natural flavoring. I love a good dark peppermint chocolate during the holidays … and these have that extra little kick I need. As a 25mg per piece edible, I definitely didn’t consume more than one of these at a time – but given the large size of each piece, I could easily eat half and have my chocolate craving satisfied.

HiColor is bringing a plethora of flavor and potency options for their chocolates, making it easy for consumers to find their individual sweet spot. With per piece/per package potency options of 10mg/100mg and 40mg/400mg coming in Milk, Dark and Blonde Chocolate varieties, there’s a little something for every palate. The Blonde was undoubtedly attractive due to its unique taste and overall rarity on the market, but 20mg of any of the flavors got me stoned and zoned to perfection.
