Leaf Glass Special 2024: Whitney Harmon

Harmon continues to find fresh ideas and functionalities that help to define his aesthetic.

Whitney Harmon grew up in Bellingham, Washington and started his journey on the torch in 1999. Since 2019, he’s resided in Coos Bay, OR, continuing to push his craft at his home studio with his wife. He has mastered many Boro glass techniques in that time and has even ventured into quartz glass. The last few years he’s worked a lot on sleeving techniques that change the basic borosilicate colors into different hues that create his unique palette. Whitney continues to innovate and push the limits of his craft – never following the mainstream, he strives to find fresh ideas and functionalities that help to define his aesthetic.
