Wish lists are cool, but there is something to be said about the element of surprise. You know, that indescribable thrill you get when ripping the wrapping paper off? We’d like to argue that the feeling of excitement is amplified when you have no earthly idea what’s inside. That’s the feeling we had when we got our hands on Chong’s OG Kush cart.
Produced locally by Midnight Sun Manufacturing, we knew that it would be a quality product, but we were confounded when we saw the oil was labeled as an indica. After all, OG Kush is known to be a powerful sativa strain. After a deep draw and a few minutes on the couch, it became clear that the effects were decidedly produced by a sativa-leaning indica.
The secret? The terps! At 5.31% terpenes and 2.2% CBD, this version of OG Kush will leave you with a euphoric head high and a surprisingly relaxed body. Although the effects were somewhat delayed, they were long-lasting. We didn’t even mind losing at Beat Saber to our 11-year-old trash-talking nephew who pointed out that we spent more time talking about how cool the graphics were than hitting the targets. OK, maybe we were low-key a little salty about the loss but after a second long draw, we forgot all about it as we sank into the couch for a nice nap.
We wouldn’t recommend the cart for daytime use if you have any tasks you need to complete, but it’s fantastic for binging episodes of Bob’s Burgers.
