501st Sugar

from AK Rime

This potent sugar is one you might want to dab in close proximity to wherever you plan on sleeping that night.

n mid-September, the first sightings of Termination Dust were reported. The white, fluffy stuff was a gut punch after spending the entire summer in rain boots. Luckily, AK Rime x Isidore has provided another white powdery option that we can all celebrate.

Produced by AK Rime and cultivated by Isidore, 501st sugar is a glistening, magic powder that will send you directly to slumberland without passing “Go” or collecting $200. A cross between Skywalker OG – a favorite here at AK Leaf – and Rare Dankness No. 1, 501st is a heavy-hitting indica hybrid. In its flower form, 501st has a powerful, piney-kush aroma that embodies everything we love about dank Cannabis. Sadly, in sugar form that scent is lost – even when smoking. However, the sickeningly sweet flavor of grape soda is heavily present when you take a big dab, and who doesn’t love grape soda?

The effects, as expected, were heady – so heady in fact, that we found ourselves tripping over the carpet as we stumbled into bed. In our defense, it was a shag carpet and those things are tricky to navigate. With that in mind, this potent sugar is one you might want to dab in close proximity to wherever you plan on sleeping that night. As you have probably already gleaned, 501st is not suitable for daytime use, unless you work night shifts. It is, however, suited for anyone struggling with insomnia due to underlying pain, as the sugar definitely has some analgesic properties.

Long story short, if you’re looking to sleep the day away, or just get caught up on some much-needed zzz’s, it doesn’t get better than 501st sugar.
