Chem D Pure Kush Rosin

from Hiker Trash

Markets all along the East Coast are clamoring for reliable gas and Chem D Pure Kush absolutely delivers.

Originally bred by La Coco Nostra from forum-sourced cuts, Chem D Pure Kush is one of the finest examples of democratized gas you’ll find in Maine. The hybrid is Chem Dog D crossed with Topanga Canyon Pure Kush, and it presents with exceptionally raunchy gas in flower and in different preparations of hash. Hiker Trash processed True North Organics’ crop into some saucy rosin with astringent, sweet fuel notes.

Atlantic Farms has stocked clones from Best Friend Farms since at least 2023. Last season, full-term harvests from them and Average Cannabis Guy produced delightful hash. In the last year, a handful of producers have run the cut and propagated it to other award-winning Maine producers, and with the expansion of markets along the East Coast, there’s potential for it to spread further south this year. It’s a good thing too, because markets all along the East Coast are clamoring for reliable gas that does it all, which Chem D Pure Kush absolutely delivers.

While many OG cuts and hybrids are known for their crushing, almost sedative potency, Chem D Pure Kush is more of the pure relaxation associated with Chem, layered over the potent creeping, muscle-relaxant body effect of OG. This hybrid is still a solid sleep aid, but it’s also suitable for use in the afternoon or evening.

The favor towards this flavor is the mouth-coating funky gas, which stains the palate and can leave you with halitosis. This rosin is clean and melts nearly clear on the banger, as expected from a producer who placed at Ego Clash. The smoothness also makes it easy to drop massive globs for a laser-fast onset head change. Overall, this is lethal gas from True North Organics and Hiker Trash, showing how one of Maine’s favorite flavors is timeless.
