Orange Berry Fizz Rosin

from The Papermill

The creamy orange and fermented fruit really stain your palate, lingering on your tongue long after the dab is done.

Since 2005, The Papermill has been hunting for and selecting unique flavors. First in Rhode Island, then in Colorado and finally moving to Maine in 2016, entering the medical program in 2020. Their passion for sifting through seeds and finding unique flavors and experiences has not gone unnoticed by the greater New England community, as the Papermill has been showing up and showing out at some heavy-hitting events over the past few years.

At Piff Con this past June, they took second place for Piff-Haze Extracts with their 90u Cat Piff Rosin, an in-house breeding project pairing selections of 707 Seedbank’s Catt Piss and Piff Coast Farm’s Purple Manguito.

Papermill’s Orange Berry Fizz, this issue’s Concentrate of the Month, was awarded 2nd place at last year’s Culture Cup. This year it took 9th place for rosin and 4th place for melt. Orange Berry Fizz is a mixed wash of Papermill selections, blending their Candied Orange from Symbiotic Genetics (Zkittlez x Mimosa v6) with their Berry Fizz from Terp Fountain Genetics (Papaya BX x Red Piegasm) in an undisclosed ratio.

The Orange Berry Fizz Rosin is a pale, opaque yellow-gold color with a shimmer of terps that highlight the rosin’s curves. The texture is light, airy and wet but still easy to transfer from tool to nail.

The smell is very citrus-forward from the Candied Oranges, with the Berry Fizz lending sweet and over-ripe fruit stained with raspberries and strawberries. When Dabbed, the vapor is soft and smooth as it fills the lungs before you exhale. The creamy orange and fermented fruit really stain your palate, lingering on your tongue long after the dab is done.

Effects begin behind the eyes, and quickly grow into a full body buzz with an uplifted, but mellow mood. The Orange Berry Fizz is a great choice any time of day to focus your creative headspace, or just to enjoy some of the exceptional terps coming out of the Papermill in Maine.
