Cloud Cannabis is a new line of eco-friendlier all-in-one vaporizers from Portland-based wholesale company Farmers First. While Farmers First produces a plethora of products, from flower to rosin to edible drinks, its Cloud subsidiary is specifically focused on bringing live resin disposables or, more accurately, recyclables to market.
There are three distinct AIOs available from the brand: Energize, Create and Unwind. Each selection is designed to be mood-based and effect-driven, intentionally geared toward delivering a more tailored experience for the user. For the purposes of delving deeper into the Concentrate of the Month feature, Unwind was chosen for further review.
Made with the cultivar Black Orchid from Self Made Farms, Unwind fills the role of a traditional indica, with as little as one puff off the device inducing a slight pressure in the head coupled with a light aura of relief. Heavier consumption will have consumers’ eyes drooping low with a palpable feeling of stoniness seeping through the body. It’s both physiologically and cerebrally soothing in a way that feels splendid.
Unwind has a flavor best described as floral with a slightly sour, fermented tang. The profile present in each puff is reportedly undiluted, representative of the plant it was extracted from, with no additional additives or artificial terpenes. The expression’s naturality paired with the AIO technology’s subtlety make it an inconspicuous and effective option for medicating on the go.
As previously alluded to, an important feature of the Cloud AIOs is their biodegradable hardware and recyclable packaging and battery. Manufactured with sustainability in mind, the casing of the device is made from fully compostable hemp. Thanks to a partnership with P3 Distributing, the batteries can also be returned to recycling boxes conveniently located in over 400 dispensaries across Oregon, making the recyclables one of the more environmentally conscious vaporizers available.
With an emphasis on effect-forward options, unadulterated live resin inputs and an eco-friendly design, the product line represents a significant effort toward mindful use of technology in casual Cannabis consumption.
