Summertime is all about sipping on ice-cold refreshing beverages and relaxing at the beach or by the pool. Originally an alcoholic drink made with gin, the Rickey eventually evolved into a sweet and sugary libation that continues to evoke warm weather and good times. Now, that dreamy drink has yet again transformed – this time into a sugar-free and zero-calorie concoction called Achieve from Levia – available in dispensaries throughout Massachusetts.
Infused with five milligrams of THC, this fizzy combination of raspberry and lime flavors added to sparkling water hits all the right tasting notes. The Achieve is a sativa blend with what they describe as a “fast and predictable onset of effects.” Pour this seltzer over some ice and prepare for some intense outdoor activities.
The effects of a full can of Achieve were mild but pleasant. We immediately felt uplifted and inspired, with an intense desire to create some art or play outside with friends. This delicious drink quickly became our “go-to” summer thirst-quencher, with a pleasant and insightful buzz, and lacking the added calories and debilitating hangovers of other available choices. We can’t wait to try Levia’s Celebrate Lemon-Lime sativa and Dream Jam Berry indica blends as well.
