Since launching in 2013, Punch Edibles quickly became known throughout California for their PunchBars – small but potent Cannabis-infused chocolates that are dosed accurately and consistently. Over the last decade, their products have expanded into infused fruit snacks, vape carts, pre-rolls, gummies and more. First up for their Empire State offerings are the Punch gummies. We tried their Peach Mango flavor, but there are four other tantalizing taste profiles also available in Blueberry Lemonade, Kiwi Strawberry, Cherry Limeade and Tropical Punch varieties. The taste matches the label, without any unpleasant, grassy, chlorophyll-like flavors. These sugar-coated fruity concoctions are only five calories and one gram of sugar per serving, but pack 10mg of THC – meaning the tasty little tropical tidbits are both delicious and effective, as well as perfect for active people on the go.
The effects come on quickly, with a cerebral effect felt after just 15-20 minutes from consumption, followed by a delightful body buzz. At 10mg per gummy, fewer pieces need to be eaten for those of us with higher tolerances or medical patients seeking strong pain relief. We found that a couple of gummies taken an hour or so before bedtime resulted in a more restful sleep schedule and more productive mornings.
