The Alaskan edible market has been experiencing a significant boom in new companies and products recently, and Tundra Brewing is one of the latest on the market. Based in Fairbanks, Tundra Brewing first hit the market in January 2021 with their Hibiscus Splash. They have since added Poncho’s Punch, Spearmint Spritz, and the brand-new Spruce Tip Splash to their menu.
Spruce Tip Splash’s aroma is – you guessed it – exactly like running through a spruce forest. With such a powerfully woodsy scent and flavor, it goes without saying that this edible is best when mixed into a good cannabutter or cocktail. If you’re stumped on how to best incorporate this 10mg delight into something palatable, a quick internet search for spruce tip cocktails and mocktails will yield a cornucopia of options – including the scrumptious Forest Cocktail.
Made from a shot of spruce tip liqueur, five milligrams of Tundra Brewing’s mixer, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and topped with lemon-lime soda, the Forest Cocktail is an incredibly refreshing summer drink. Of course, you can also skip the liqueur if you’d prefer a mocktail. Either way, what’s nice about Tundra Brewing’s petite servings is that you’re guaranteed a subtle, relaxed high that is perfect for date night – or a night Netflix and chilling with your cat.
Apart from the versatility of Tundra Brewing’s mini mixers, what really has us jazzed about the company is the fact that they are proudly Alaska Native-owned. We can’t wait to see what the added diversity to Alaska’s Cannabis market means for future products!
