Of course, haters are going to hate, but we contend that little hits the spot quite like a perfectly baked pumpkin spice bread – except maybe the Cannabis-infused Pumpkin Muffin Bites from The Next Degree.
The instant you pop open the plastic container, your olfactory system is delighted by the simple, memorable scent of America’s most beloved winter squash. Although each of The Next Degree’s Pumpkin Muffin Bites is individually wrapped, there is no stopping the delectable aroma from escaping. In fact, given their relatively demure size, it’s surprising that they pack so much punch. But this pumpkin extravaganza doesn’t stop there…
Each Pumpkin Muffin Bite had the characteristically spongy, slightly sticky texture you’d expect to find. Each bite was loaded with pumpkin flavor and a generous dollop of cinnamon, which masked any weedy aftertaste that may have been there. The only thing that left us wanting was the size of the muffins – when something tastes this good, it’s heartbreaking when it’s gone in one bite.
With only 5mg of THC per muffin and three muffins per package, this edible might be best suited for newer consumers. Because the high was so subtle, we found that we needed a minimum of two muffins to get the full effects of the sleepy head high.
