For me, the effects of Rythm’s delicious flower were quite cerebral and dare I say, creative. There is something about the positive, mellow headspace of a well-balanced hybrid profile that lends itself towards a bit of creative expression. Even if one isn’t an artist, the layers of creative problem solving and visionary perspective are notable and worth pursuing on any given summer evening.
Beyond the blissful, easy-going high of the Biscotti Sundae #16, one can’t help but appreciate the stellar cure that makes this toke all the more tasty. A well-cured bud is few and far between, but the fine folks at Rythm got us this batch in pristine smoking shape. Generally speaking, the cure of the flower helps mature the resin and allow the plant material to slowly degrade in such a way as to create a rich and bold smoke that retains all the flavor and nuanced effects that flower has to offer – and this strain is a wonderful example of this process being done to perfection. I was able to note the cakey, sweet, tropical funk that makes up the lush aroma and flavor profile in each and every toke. There is a creaminess to the smoke that really holds the flavor and lets it cling to your palate. I will be enjoying the Biscotti Sundae #16 for dessert for many summer evenings to come.
