Rythm Cannabis has been one of the top flower producers in Maryland and this month they truly demonstrated their talents with their rendition of Cereal Milk #2 – a nationally recognized cross between Snowman and Y-Life. This flower has an exquisite terpene profile that brings fresh aromas to market, and they’re as creamy and sweet as the cultivar name implies.
For me, pinene dominant profiles are really excellent energizers, but I have never experienced pinene tempered with a 1:1 ratio of limonene:caryophyllene, followed by a strong dollop of ocimene! Ocimene is a super rare terpene to find in any abundance, even in more developed markets across the country. As such, not many people get to experience its influence on the entourage of effects that come out. A euphoric, clear-headed and super creative high was my experience with Rythm’s Cereal Milk #2, and it’s one I won’t soon forget.
Robust sweet cream mixed with honey and berries was at the top of the nose, but the undertone of the aroma featured hints of orchids and lilacs. The smell alone is worth a sample of this fine cultivar because it is so purely in the sweet category of Cannabis, yet avoids any overly candied notes. The blend of sweet berries and honey underscored by opulent florals is just so much more of a sophisticated experience, that I almost find it hard to put into words.
I have never seen such a profile that is so close to something so popular, but tweaked in a way that is surprising and exciting. It is like when a gourmet chef takes a well-known recipe and elevates the flavor profile to a whole new level, revitalizing a staple into something new and interesting. In this case, the resulting meal just might be the best bowl of cereal you’ve ever had.
