Behind The Strain: Kush Mountains

This is the perfect variety for people looking to de-stress or those with issues falling asleep or body pains.

The award-winning Kush Mountains strain from Cannabiotix tastes amazing, shines bright like a diamond, and has a potent and long-lasting effect appreciated by connoisseurs and medical patients alike.

Kush Mountains was bred by J.B., CEO and co-founder (along with his partner Neema) of Cannabiotix, who crossed the illustrious White Walker Kush with their proprietary Blue Flame OG to create a Kush hybrid for the ages. J.B. pheno-hunted the results of the cross until he found the keeper which ended up testing at a THC/A level of over 28% and has a strong gassy scent and classic diesel fuel flavor with just a hint of sweetness.

J.B. tells me that Kush Mountains “has the tendency to ‘golf ball’ all the way up the plant, but will chunk out with a cool environment and smart feeding schedule.” The strain has a slightly longer than usual flowering time for a hybrid of 9-10 weeks but will yield decently when nutrients and environment are properly dialed in.

Despite the extra flowering time, Kush Mountains leans more on the indica-dominant spectrum as far as effect. Most often described as relaxing and sedating, this is the perfect variety for people looking to de-stress or those with issues falling asleep or body pains. This is more of a strain for lounging on the couch and staying in than for socializing or daytime use.
