Rose just turned 22 and has been in the Cannabis industry for nearly a year and a half, where in that short time, she has already been promoted to Lead Patient Care Specialist. One of the things Rose takes pride in is her ability to connect with patients and quickly meet their needs. Next comes her honesty – where you’ll never find Rose trying to sell a patient on a product unless she truly believes they need it. Check out the reviews on Bloom Medicinals – you’ll surely see Rose’s name more than once.
Where did you go to school and what did you study?
I went to Brightwood for my RNA, and after getting it I kind of decided I didn’t want to be in that field of healthcare anymore. Cannabis has always been a part of my life … I knew I wanted to do something in that area. So I stopped school for a little while, but I do plan on proceeding in the next month or two.
Are you from Germantown? Do you like it here?
Yes I am, I was born and raised right in the heart of Germantown – right down the street, it’s where my heart is. We definitely live in a very diverse area, you see friendly people from all walks of life. The food is all right – they definitely have a little bit better food in DC. But overall, Montgomery County is a great place to start a family.
Does your family use Cannabis?
So, my family actually was always against Cannabis. They are West African, so they never knew Cannabis could be used as medicine. When I first got into the Cannabis industry, they wanted me to go back to school for nursing. I actually started turning them over with topicals, because my mom struggles with pain and my father struggles with nerve damage in his feet. They expressed that they have never felt the same relief as when they tried Cannabis products.
What are your hobbies?
I love to sing – my co-workers will tell you that I’m here singing all day long! It might sound a little corny, but I love doing little Tik Tok dance videos with my three-year-old daughter. I also have a lot of friends with local businesses, so I try to help out as a brand ambassador for them. One of my friends makes pastries and is looking to open a bakery soon, so I love helping her out. Shoutout to @cakeebabbyy on Instagram.
What is your favorite way to connect with patients?
This may sound like a weird answer, but I connect with patients through pain. Sometimes that means connecting with a patient about something they have gone through in life, and relating to their daily struggle. Other times it means physical pain, because I have dealt with severe back pain issues and can show them I truly understand their situation.
