Refresh the Stash at Trilogy Wellness

"You could basically taste the rainbow with the huge variety of fruity and gassy strains”

One of the first dispensaries I ever visited in the state of Maryland was Trilogy Wellness, which has been around since the inception of this market. Some things have changed as time went on, like its hours extending to 10:30 p.m. every day of the week as a part of its “Trilogy PM Initiative.” Trilogy has always hosted educational events like “Boomers and Buds,” as well as clone and growing workshops where they educate the public. Community outreach is a significant part of its mission, involving donations to organizations like the Maryland Proton Treatment Center and numerous other nonprofits. Customers also contribute, and Trilogy matches their donations to do some good for the community and those in need. Be sure to stop in to grab some buds or concentrate the next time you cruise through Ellicott City.

Setting and Vibe

Smiles for miles lined the faces of employees as I walked through this store with the music bumping. Customers are greeted on a first-name basis as they are welcomed into the store. Trilogy strongly emphasizes education and making sure people know what they are buying and how it may benefit their lives. Marketing Manager Sophia Johns gave me a tour through the dispensary, showing me the ins and outs of how they make running this delightful store possible. It’s great to see the passion behind the business that drives them to do the best for their customers on a daily basis.

Flower

There were over 100 different strains available on the menu during my visit — an impressive number to say the least. You don’t have to worry about becoming overwhelmed; you are spoiled for choice as the staff can direct you toward something that will taste great and target what you’re seeking to accomplish. Whether you want to slide in and grab a cheap eighth or spend some time diving into the selections, they have you covered.

Concentrates

You could basically taste the rainbow with the huge variety of fruity and gassy strains Trilogy has available in concentrates. Strains like Sour Pink Lychee from Nature’s Heritage, Garlic Cookies from Grassroots, Mimosa from #HASH, and many more are regularly available. Remember adult-use customers are able to buy concentrates as of last month, so get out there and expand your horizons with some new products.

Edibles

Once again Trilogy has outdone itself with the selection of edibles, including the newest products on the market and everything we’ve come to know and love: taffy, gummies, sodas, seltzers, chocolates, tinctures, tablets, mints, and the list goes on. They even have an informational flier on the wall to show you how much edibles/flower/concentrates will be removed from your allotment when you purchase specific amounts of each of those products. Trilogy regularly runs deals on edibles and all of its products, so keep an eye on the menu listed online.

Product Review

Yuzu Blood Orange Tall Elevated Seltzer by Evermore Cannabis Company
5mg THC per can

At zero grams of sugar and zero calories per can, I really appreciate seeing a healthy option for drinkables entering the market. The flavor is a nice mix of citrus fruits and reminded me of a lemon-flavored La Croix. This proved to be the perfect daytime edible, at 5mg of THC, giving me a nice but not overpowering buzz. They are also resealable, so if you don’t want to drink the entire seltzer in one go, you can close it up and save it for later. Shoutout to Evermore for constantly staying on the innovative side of the market.
