A very happy 5th anniversary to Nirvana Center Dispensaries, which first opened its doors in Baltimore in February 2020. Something about this store has always had a hometown feel, from the employees to the atmosphere and everything in between. They now have a Baltimore City and Rosedale location, with both stores being extremely visually and environmentally appealing. This is the kind of store you can feel good about where your money is going when buying Cannabis. Shoutout to Tera and the team for holding it down and being part of what makes the Cannabis industry in Maryland kick ass!
Setting and Vibe

From the classics to the newest heat, my head was consistently bopping to rap songs during my tour. “Everything is purple, swag” was playing in my head after leaving the store, and we could all use a little dose of A$AP Rocky in our lives. The walls are lined with product displays from various brands operating in Maryland. The employees are genuinely hyped about specific products and can steer you in the right direction. Everything about this store makes me want to keep going back for the vibes and smiles.
Flower

Taken aback is an understatement for how I felt about the massive variety of flower they had available. They keep the flower menu absolutely popping off with fresh drops from our favorite growers. One thing I noticed is that all the flower I got at Nirvana was fresh and didn’t crumble into dust when I went to break it up. They even had Harlem’s Finest from Kind Therapeutics, which is a legendary cross between Zkittlez and Project 41510.
Concentrates
One thing I always look for on a good concentrate menu is the variety of forms, such as live resin, shatter, solventless extracts and more. Nirvana has it on lock with a little bit of something for chasers of all concentrate forms. They keep a constant variety of oil flowing through the doors, and I was hyped to see Temple Balls from Eden on the menu. For those who have yet to try temple ball hash, this should be your next purchase.
Edibles

Nirvana doesn’t have to take you to the candy shop; you’re already there when you step in the door. The variations in flavor, potency and cannabinoid ratios are endless and really help when dialing in the right variety for your perfect regimen. Betty’s Eddies are up there with my top picks for my favorite edible ever, and they had five different types for me to choose from.
Product Review
LA Pop Rocks by Fade Co.
28.38% Total Cannabinoids and 2.395% Total Terpenes

This is exactly how I want my weed to look and smell when I bust open a fresh Mylar. Sweet smells of apple and candy blend with a potent, gelato-like, gassy essence to make a truly exotic aroma and flavor. This strain is a cross between Triangle Kush Bx2 and Z Animal, which while being a mouthful to describe is also a mouthful of unbelievable terpy deliciousness. After smoking a joint my anxiety began to dissipate as I sank into the couch and watched “Game of Thrones.”
