This month we are psyched to introduce you to Ben Hulbert from Piece of Mind in downtown Bellingham. Ben hails from the hub of Cannabis in Eugene, Oregon. They grew up in an influential Cannabis community, and their personal relationship with the plant is very evident in their passion for helping consumers and patients. Ben’s quick to point out that the ownership and management at POM are not only supportive of their approach to customer service but also encourage it.
“There’s a huge resurgence in Cannabis use, maybe they tried it 30 years ago and now they’re in their 60s experiencing medical issues that can be readily treated with marijuana,” Ben said. “We provide an educational, professional environment with a dedicated focus on effective Cannabis and local involvement.”
As the Certified Medical Cannabis Adviser for Piece Of Mind Bellingham, Ben is the in-house expert. They’re part of the education team that trains staff on DOH-approved brands and knowledge, which is then passed on to clients. Ben helps keep the store up to date on the ever-changing infrastructure and will soon be hosting a monthly in-house class to help bring more knowledge to locals. One of the things Ben praises about the operations team at POM is their ability to quickly and efficiently make changes based on customers’ needs.
