2025 Oregon Concentrates Special

The Oregon Leaf staff breaks down the state's top hash products in our annual Concentrate Special!

Solventless

Nelson & Company “Death Coast” Cold Cure Live Rosin

Nelson and Company released one of the top jars of the year with Death Coast. Bred by Pips Weed and grown/washed by Nelson and Co., this is a mix of Death Star and Sour Diesel, which the brand describes as having a heavy buzz and a smell that reminds them of Chem ’91. Raunchy and sour from the moment you unscrew the lid, this is what classic flavor chasers are always after. –Review by Matt Jackson (@actionmattjackson)

76.03% THC, 8.20% Terpenes
@nelsonandcompanyorganics

Grape God “Diesel Dough” 90μ-120μ Live Rosin

The gassy, full-bodied flavor on this rosin from Oregon’s dab deity is enough to make you run back for three more jars. Sour D x Dosidos was bred by Archive Seed Bank, and the Sour cut used to make this was a gift Archive received back in 2005. They say adding the Dosidos helps increase resin production. This rosin is packed with earthy, funky, OG-style smells and a flavor that seems like it was strained through herbs soaked in chemicals and kerosene. –Review by Matt Jackson

Verdant Leaf “Funking Boof” Solventless Cold Cured Rosin Badder

A mix of Citrus Funk and Superboof, the flavor expression on display is a delectable amalgamation of spiced cherry and orange. Elements of sour, raunch, funk and savoriness seethe atop the palate during consumption, generating a veritable maelstrom of tasty terps. Topped off with a cognitively stimulating and productive high, Funking Boof is a pretty funking solid smoke. –Review by Jamie Owens (@pnw_chronic710)

@theverdantleaf

Bubbles’ Hash “JellyFish” Bubble Hash

This product can be broken up to top a bowl, put in a dry herb vaporizer or smoke out of a hash hammer. However it’s consumed, the concentrate comes equipped with an effect that’s simultaneously invigorating and tranquilizing. A form of hash with a heavier body high, it’s an ideal option for smokers looking for a more medicinal experience. –Review by Jamie Owens

Oregrown “Old Car Smell” Live Rosin Badder

Here at Leaf Magazine, we love a 2-gram bucket. It’s a chance to really get to know your rosin. This Chem 4 x Gas Runtz grown by Terra Australis, affectionately named Old Car Smell, has an octane aroma that’s also sweet and chemy like menthol rub. The flavor is a subtle and balanced expression of that smell: sweet with a chem edge. The jar also had a cool silicon seal that seemed to keep the rosin in exquisite condition. –Review by Matt Jackson

Bonsai “Cosmic Crisp” 90μ Hash Rosin

Furnished with a high that’s soothing, sedating and highly satisfying, Cosmic Crisp (Triangle Mints x Apple Fritter) is a star of a concentrate in its own right. It has a taste that’s initially kush-heavy, but the presentation quickly expands to include a sumptuous apple flavoring. It’s crisp, funky and downright refreshing. As far as rosin goes, this strain is out of this world. –Review by Jamie Owens

Focus North “Runaway Diesel” Live Rosin

A unique blend of OG 18 x Sour Diesel created by an unknown breeder, Runaway Diesel delivers deliciousness with full force. This musty, citrus-diesel profile was perfected in the gardens of Focus North before being squished into a soft, doughy rosin that instigates salivation at every step — from scoop to smoke. –Review by Terpodactyl Media (@terpodactyl_media)

Archive “Wild Thornberry” Rosin

We’re babbling like Donnie over this cross of Strawnana x Animal Face x Kush Mints, bred, grown and produced by Archive. A jammy, strawberry-banana sweetness slaps you from the first lift of the lid, but it’s the complexities lying beneath that bring you back. The resinous, herbal, pepper and menthol undertones blend with its fruit-forward face to bring a bold and unique dabbing experience. –Review by Terpodactyl Media

SugarTop Buddery “Crash Glow” 73μ-159μ Cold Cure Live Rosin

Day Glow, Grape Pie and Wedding Crasher make up this tempting trifecta. In this rendition in rosin form by SugarTop Buddery, there’s an intriguing spicy grape effect with soft orange undertones that blossoms from the jar. It’s candy-forward at first, but you’ll find a few earthy, woodsy flavors frolicking around here too. –Review by Terpodactyl Media

Sand Castle Hash Co. “Superboof” 90μ Piatella

Sand Castle Hash Co. is all about two things: surfing and hash. Their 90μ Superboof Piatella is supposedly the only one on the Oregon rec market. This American adaptation of Uncle’s creation has a consistency more like a mix between a truffle and a temple ball, making it easy to shave some off. The citrus and fruit flavor just sings with this one. Piatella usually leaves some pretty dark char, so spiking a joint is usually best, though this was great at 450 degrees. –Review by Matt Jackson

Whale Oil Extracts “The Sherb” 73μ-149μ Live Rosin

New to the Oregon market, Whale Oil has already taken home first place for Rosin and Melt at the 2025 Oregon Leaf Bowl. This Sunset Sherbet x GMO was grown in Applegate Valley at an elevation of 2,200 feet in living soil beds fed with KNF inputs. The Sherb has a citric yet funky quality that starts off sweet and gets brighter, but it always has a bit of something different right at the edge keeping it from being just another Sherb cross. –Review by Matt Jackson

Northwest Oiltech “Vanilla Gorilla” Live Rosin

Northwest Oiltech has some outstanding rosin we’ve swooned over in the past. Vanilla Gorilla is an Exotic Genetics strain that’s Grease Monkey x Cookies and Cream F2. Grown by Northwest Oiltech out in Bend, Oregon, this rosin has a great consistency for hash holes: firm but still wet. The smell starts with dough, then a sugary vanilla frosting and finishes with a blast of gorilla BO. The flavor is gassy but with a finish that’s like someone caramelized that sugary sweetness. –Review by Matt Jackson

Higher Heads “Z Gummy Shark” Cold Cure Live Rosin

The aroma actually does smell like a bag of gummy sharks but with a smack of Z that’ll make you sneeze. Harvested at Pure Joy Gardens in the Tualatin Valley, Z Gummy Shark brings together projects from 3rd Gen Family Farm, Symbiotic Genetics and Sexual Chocolate Factory. With Blue Gummy Shark x Orange Lassi F3 x Ztan Lee, you get a tangy but still sweet flavor that hits the bottom of your taste buds and keeps sinking deeper. –Review by Matt Jackson

Fuji Melt “Zkittlez” 73μ-159μ Rosin Badder

The strain, the myth, the legend. Sometimes known by its more generic alias, Z, Zkittlez — bred by 3rd Gen Family Farm, grown by Bonafide and produced by Fuji Melt — is the real deal. Composed of a sweet, candy-laden profile with succulent lime and grapefruit attributes, this concentrate is undeniably delectable. Presenting with an easy inhale and minimal residue leftover after vaporization, there’s no doubt Zkittlez is a Bonafide hitter. –Review by Jamie Owens

Brave Hearts “Steamer Lane” 73μ-159μ Hash Rosin

Steamer Lane (Papaya x Triple Burger) is a single-source hash rosin that’s been bred, grown and processed in-house by Brave Hearts. The concentrate features a refreshing, papaya-heavy forward accented with a gassy funk reminiscent of old-school scented markers. It’s sweet, fruity and perfectly raunchy in a way that makes the mouth water. Surf’s up for the tastebuds when Steamer Lane is on the menu. –Review by Jamie Owens

Lofty “Banachee” 70μ-149μ Hash Rosin

Banachee is a Nana’s Pudding x Lychee cross by Little Lake Valley Seed Co. It’s a full-blown banana bonanza with layers of vanilla, dough and caramelized sugar transposed over a background of tropical fruit. The flavor seems to lean further into the banana and lychee sides of the expression, leaving a scrumptiously savory relish that simmers atop the tongue. Complete with an enjoyable effect, it’s a strain sure to leave consumers feeling Lofty. –Review by Jamie Owens

Zilem Collective “Watermelon Soda x Los Celos” Live Rosin

When combined with underlying tones of peppered savoriness, the profile is stunningly similar to spiced watermelon rind. With a high that generates a relaxing feeling of cerebral pressure and a satisfying physiological effect, this cultivar has the potential to be quite the summer treat. –Review by Jamie Owens

Forte “Bosscotti #9” 90μ Live Rosin

Bosscotti has a cakey, pastry-dominant scent accentuated by a lingering garlic fragrance that seeps out whenever the concentrate is scooped or mixed. Just a touch of sweetness is apparent at the beginning of a dab before the flavor is overtaken by an earthy, garlicky raunch. A “boss” of a selection, The Don Mega x Biscotti cross — bred by Solfire Gardens and grown by Decibel — might just be your Forte. –Review by Jamie Owens

Decibel Farms “Strawberry Banana” 73μ-159μ Live Rosin

Denoted by an expression that’s saturated with fruitiness, the scent starts off with a splash of strawberry before bombarding the senses with banana. The entire concentrate has a sweetened, bubble gum-like quality to it that translates quite reliably from aroma to flavor. A Decibel Farms staple at this point, this Strawberry Kush x Bubblegum cross is sure to have dabbers going Strawberry Bananas for it. –Review by Jamie Owens

Willamette Valley Alchemy “Strawberry Candi” Live Rosin

Strawberry Candi is an Orange Zkittles x Strawberry Guava cross bred by Bloom Seed Co. and grown by Roganja that incorporates a rich, artificial strawberry scent mixed with notes of cocoa and candied zest. It’s a deep, distinctly appetizing profile that’s oddly reminiscent of both Faygo Red Pop and chocolate Tootsie Rolls. A great option to go with dessert (or really any time of day), this cultivar evokes a mean sweet tooth. –Review by Jamie Owens

With a name that nods to the experience, Kitchen Sink throws a juicy juxtaposition of flavors at you. It’s sweet, sour, funky and fun. There’s a savory essence of meat and onion, something creamy, floral and even a pinch of pine. –Review by Terpodactyl Media

Dirty Arm Farm “MS10” Rosin

MS10 is short for Melted Strawberries #10, but you won’t find it short on flavor.
