Aye Papi

from Canasmith

Aye Papi is a tantalizing cross between Red Runtz and Gary Poppins.

Candy is back on the menu, and we’re just as excited as the hordes of wiggling iPad elementary school students and the dentists counting their blessings for another season of sugar.

Grown under the natural sunlight in a controlled, clear-roof indoor environment, Canasmith utilizes the best of the natural sunlight with the controls and consistency of greenhouse growing and supplemental lights to grow tasty buds year-round. A true craft farm, the pursuit of being eco-friendly is just as important as delivering top-shelf flower that utilizes conscious farming methods without harmful pesticides. With a delicious lineup — including old school classics like Super Lemon Haze and Candyland, newer cuts like Banana Blast and Strawneapple, and a handful of delicious Gary Poppins crosses — there’s no shortage of fire coming from the Canasmith farm.

Aye Papi is a tantalizing cross between Red Runtz and Gary Poppins, which brings the best of sweet, sour and cheesy funk to the table. Each gorgeous bud is heavily frosted by tight trichomes shining from a green and purple bud body, with a soft, medium-density feel that breaks up easily for big bowls. The first notes from the jar are all SweeTARTS and Runts candy, with a sugary sharpness that’s tempered by creamy, cheesy berries and a slam dunk of the Gary Poppins diesely funk to round out a complex and heady flavor profile.

Lightly sticky and featuring an excellent cure, this soft and fluffy flower burns with superb smoothness, sending a rush of clean smoke into the lungs to be released with no cough, as the Aye Papi grabs hold of the senses. Repeated tokes coat the palate in a sugared, fruity gas that is hard to put down, as we reloaded a second bowl and committed to getting ripped. Effects are wondrously uplifting, sending a rush of creative euphoria and chatty energy that is great for focus and work or brunch conversations on the weekend. It’s heavy enough to calm stress and sedate worry, but it’s clear enough to stay in the moment and ready for a fall adventure with a bag of bite-sized candy for the ensuing munchies.
