2:1 (CBD:THC) Kiwi Strawberry

from Chalice Farms

The wide array of flavors and effects available are undoubtedly enticing

You may be familiar with the Chalice Farms dispensary chain –  but for this month’s featured edible, let us introduce you to Chalice Chews.

These gluten, dairy, and soy-free snacks are made with real fruit puree, beet sugar and sunflower lecithin – so you can snack peacefully knowing your edible is free of artificial colors and flavors. This particular sample is a 2:1 (CBD:THC) kiwi strawberry offering called Calm. It provides ten pieces per pack, with each weighing in at about 10 milligrams of CBD and five milligrams of THC.

Slipping one out of the box and into its intended orifice offers a Starburst-like mouthfeel. While significantly less sweet, it is nearly as satisfying. The bright fruit flavor masks any present distillate taste, without becoming overpowering or fake. Chewing lingers longer than some of the softer edible options, so this lends itself nicely to a (slight) sublingual application.

As always, activation times vary from person to person. But it appears as though these offer a relatively quick onset of effects – a serene dropping of the shoulders and smooth descent into sleepiness.

While we enjoyed the Calm variety of the Chalice Chews, the wide array of flavors and effects available are undoubtedly enticing. Recovery in lemon ginger, Balance in acai berry, Energy in tangerine – the list goes on and certainly has a mash-up to meet your needs.
