Definitely a space-age material that we are still learning about, it’s fitting that an exotic strain from the Cookies Family in California would carry the same intention in layering three powerful genetic lines into one perfect cut of Carbon Fiber. 

This strain is a cross of Grape Pie, Cookies and Cream, and the infamous Biscotti – which has bred together for maximum impact, creating an indica strain full of hype and stoney effects.

Grown by Enlighten Gardens, this new to the Alaska scene strain had us excited from our first peek into the pile of nuggets. Squeezing open a mylar releases a fruity-earthy-dankness that lingers in the air with heavy aromatic Grape Pie terps. The buds are simply beautiful, with a solidly dense structure and a ridiculous coating of frosty trichomes. Breaking open a nug delivers a satisfying snap, releasing a sweeter and brighter citrus-haze-fuel from the Biscotti that balances the Cookies and Pie flavors, revealing this strain to be both complex and enticing with amazing bag appeal.

Once we drooled over the perfect flower long enough, it was time to pack a bowl and take this three-way indica cross to task. First tokes are sweet and smooth, rushing into the lungs and exhaling like a kiss, with a syrupy-diesely-fruit flavor that lingers on the palate. Initial effects grip the mind, featuring a classic time-warping slow down from the potent parentage. 

Layering a few tokes back to back, much like how carbon atoms are layered to make Carbon Fiber, causes a stoney chemical reaction that builds up a heavy high – dominating the body and mind. With a warming euphoria that starts from the chest, each inhale of smoke adds on to create a euphoric, relaxing and perfectly baked buzz.
