Jordan Aguilar knows what he likes.
With more than a decade of cultivation under his belt, including a career-making stretch growing for Connected and Alien Labs, it’s safe to say that he knows what other people like, too. That’s why when people told him that the public wasn’t looking for GG4-based flower, he chose to cultivate a strain crossed with the neo-classic cultivar anyway. Why? Because the cross in question – the powerful P90 – was his favorite pheno in the opening lineup for the launch of his brand, Blueprint.
“It tastes like it smells,” Aguilar said. ”It has a good eye. I like it.”
A cross between GG and Gelato 41, the P90 showcases a deliciously unmistakable mix of its gassy genetic heritage, loudly announcing its presence as soon as you crack open the jar. The savory fuel notes attack the senses, tempered by a deliciously sweet undertone. It smokes smooth and packs a wallop. This is definitely not productive weed – it’s “watch ‘Rings of Power’ on a Sunday” weed. It’s a standout among a stack of stellar strains in the Blueprint catalog.
Aguilar launched Blueprint in the summer of 2021 with his partners – Joe Stanger, Tom Sheridan and Green Dawg’s Drew Coggio – as a nod to the expertise afforded them by their experience. “I was like, ‘We have the Blueprint,’” Aguilar said. “We know how to grow. We know how to build it. We know how to set it up. Let’s just be the Blueprint.”
With the quality output and considerable hype the brand has been building since it first dropped, it’s safe to say he’s right. We can’t wait to see what they come out with next.
