After a winter of longingly watching reels of vacationing influencers, the sun is finally here in the great PNW – complete with extra long days of sunshine and spectacular, color-filled evening skies that are perfect for seshing with the Sunset Dosi strain.
The early bird may get the worm, but nonetheless, stoners are more likely to catch a sunset. And catching a buzz during an epic display of the aforementioned feels like the stoner version of a concert, with flashing lights melting into the sky as a bowl burns to completion. To honor this beautiful time of year, we picked a tasty strain bred in the PNW by Archive Seed Bank and grown by Kindness Family Farm.
Archive has been breeding, growing and sharing top shelf clones for years, and we love that the Kindness Family chose to grow a whole lineup of Archive strains. The Sunset Dosi comes from blending Sunset Sherbet x Dosidos and stands out as an indica-dominant cut with beautiful, frosty nugs and an intense, rich flavor profile. Opening a jar releases a loud sour funk with notes of green apples, burnt rubber and syrupy citrus – resulting in a complexity that teases and dominates the palate.
The flower is dense and covered with trichomes, sticking to fingers when loading a bowl and leaving a raw, gassy-sherbet scent behind. First tokes are rich and citrusy, with a tangy sourness on the exhale that sparks the senses, lingering on the palate as effects build from the chest outward. The smoke is extremely clean and warming, surrounding the senses like a blanket and relaxing muscles as a gentle euphoria hits the frontal lobes.
Like a beautiful evening crescendo of color and light, the Sunset Dosi delivers with a wondrous and carefree high that’s perfect for chasing sunsets … or perhaps even catching sunrises after a long summer night.
