Spread the love around like grape jelly on a big toasted piece of you with the frosty and delicious Welch’s Grape strain.
Biggie said it best with “a T-Bone steak, cheese eggs and Welch’s Grape,” but we know he wasn’t smoking on the legal fire of today’s weed market. If we could smoke down with Biggie and Tupac and serve them some modern terps, they probably couldn’t handle it, especially if the weed is coming from the DOH-compliant, hand-trimmed and pesticide-free High End Farms.
The Welch’s Grape has beautiful purple buds that are dense and thick, with a coating of trichomes that glisten when scoped and stick to fingers as a bowl is loaded. The flower smells like bright, freshly squeezed grape jam mixed with earthy, sugary kush and an iced lemon finish. Complex and syrupy, breaking up a bowl set our mouths watering as the rush of fizzy-grape goodness washed over our senses.
First tokes are warm and tingly, slowing senses with a smooth smoke and a gentle, grape-fuel exhale that lingers on the palate like a perfect bite of a fresh pastry. Effects are quick to hit, wrapping around the mind and body in a Big Papa type of buzz that’s happy, feel good and ready to move to a beat. We loved the heavy indica stoniness that relaxes and amplifies sound, setting us on a course for the kitchen — no extra jelly required.
