2025 Northwest Leaf Carts and Disposables Roundup

It’s important to be able to get high in social and public situations without smelling like hardcore terps.

Summer is fading from our minds and social media feeds faster than a Cal Raleigh moonshot leaves the stadium at a Mariners playoff game, so we set out to find the best new flavored vapes to power our way through the return to winter weather.

The official taste of fall is not limited to pumpkin spice and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, although we’re definitely OK with both! It’s important to be able to get high in social and public situations without smelling like hardcore terps, which is where flavorized vapes shine. We chose four of the best brands in the disposable game to bring a rainbow of fun to your next blinker hit sesh on the soccer field sidelines.

Rove

Strawberry Cough Melted Diamonds & Apple Jack Melted Diamonds

New to the Washington market but well established around the country, Rove lives up to its tagline: Ultra big clouds, super smooth hits. We started with the Strawberry Cough Melted Diamonds, which are extremely potent and ready to melt the mind into a puddle. The first hits from the sleek and beautifully embossed battery with a magnetically attached cart are bright and creamy, with a gooey, sugary strawberry moment and a honey, gassy finish that delights the palate. The Apple Jack is more complex, with a sharp green apple and a hazy, lemony, Jack-type gas that erupts out of thick clouds to glaze over the mind in a euphoric sativa high. With energetic daytime blends, go Rove for your next weedy adventure.

Pastime

DANIEL BERMAN

Liquid Diamonds & Live Terpenes
Jelly Beanz
Pineapple Beltz
Highlighterz

Cannabis is both our favorite hobby and buzz, so much so that calling it our “Pastime” is really perfect, just like this new-to-the-Washington-market brand. With beautiful packaging and strain-specific blends, these sleek new disposables are ready to get heady on the go. We started with the Highlighterz (Sherb x Permanent Marker x Zkittlez), which rushed over the palate in a sultry and sweet gassy/Sherb/Z haze with notes of creamy melons and a marker finish that slows thoughts and enhances sound. Next, we hit the Jelly Beanz, a cross of Strawberry Banana x Hippie OG, which caused a sativa buzz that rips with clouds of strawberry dipped in vanilla and OG gas that rushes to the mind with heady euphoria. Hitting the third flavor in this classy pack, the Pineapple Beltz cross of Candy Pineapple x Rainbow Beltz sent us into a state of happy bliss with each puff of tropical pineapple candy. Get on island time, and enjoy the moment with each Pastime hit.

Micro Bar

Acai Berry Gelato Cartridge & Melon Bar Quickstrike Cartridge

From the brand that ignited the flavored disposable rush comes a classic 510 threaded cartridge lineup that’s ready to add flavor to your daily buzz. The Melon Bar Quickstrike lives up to its name, with a smack of creamy, melony gas that ignites the mind with a euphoric sativa buzz that’s ready for rainy days. The Acai Berry Gelato blends a ripe and rich acai berry blast with the creamy, funky gas of Gelato for a complex and delicious flavor that’s stoney enough to be weed, but fruity enough to puff in a crowd without anyone knowing — until they see red eyes and joyful coughing from a blinker hit.

Neon

Kiwi Strawberry & Dole Whip
Premium Distillate + Natural Terpenes

From the fine folks at Oleum — whose new edible line, Momo Gummies, is also in this issue of the Northwest Leaf — is a tasty duo of naturally flavored distillate disposables. Try hitting that and saying it three times fast! These Neon units live up to their name, filling the palate and mind with bright colors and heady vibes. The Kiwi Strawberry tastes like fresh fruit on a white sand beach and fills us with a tropical buzz, all delivered by a high-tech, color-matching disposable. The Dole Whip is all pineapple power, with a perfect skunky quality to add complexity to this sativa buzz that’s ready for mental vacations.

About Wes Abney

Wes Abney is the founder and CEO of the Leaf Nation brand family, which began in 2010 as Northwest Leaf magazine. Recognized as the first Cannabis publication in the region, Northwest Leaf defined and developed the medical and recreational Cannabis communities in Washington with free publications focused on quality content and truthful journalism. The model’s success has led to Oregon Leaf in 2014, Alaska Leaf in 2016, Maryland Leaf in 2019, California Leaf in Spring of 2020, and Northeast Leaf in Fall of 2020. Wes’s writing and publishing background began with his college newspaper, The Ebbtide, which included a love for multimedia and creating content on many platforms. The nickname “Bearded Lorax” came after years of publishing millions of free magazines, using his voice to speak for a plant and those that benefit from it. Wes is an activist not only for Cannabis but for alternative medicine treatments, ending the drug war and freeing prisoners who have been wrongfully incarcerated for non-violent crimes. His passion for reaching people with written and spoken words led to the concept of Leaf Life Podcast in partnership with Mike Ricker, which began development in 2018 and launched in January 2019. With the combined passions of Cannabis and a love for broadcasting, the creation of Leaf Life was a natural progression for Leaf Nation as it spread roots across the United States. With over 100 shows recorded, and printing over 100,000 monthly copies, Leaf Nation has become the world’s largest Cannabis media company, while still celebrating the humble roots and truthful journalism that the model was founded upon. Beyond leading a team of 40+ passionate Cannabis creatives, Wes is the father to two beautiful daughters and two furry cats. He lives in Seattle, drinks coffee, and enjoys Cannabis daily, and hopes to eventually transition from a successful Cannabis journalist to a classic coffee shop author as the Leaf continues to grow in the coming decades. In true Lorax fashion, he enjoys hikes in the forest, communing with nature, and reminding people that “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.”
