Los Angeles overflows with Emerald Cup weekend events

The Emerald Cup's Los Angeles debut brings with it a weekend packed with Cannabis events

@theemeraldcup

Legendary California Cannabis competition The Emerald Cup has come to Los Angeles, and the move has packed a bowlful of events into the city over the next few days.

After nearly two decades as a NorCal-based hybrid trade show, festival, and Cannabis competition, this new iteration of The Emerald Cup has gone to Hollywood, reemerging as a gala-style awards party at the historic Ricardo Montalbán Theater on Saturday evening. The Cup partnered with Boveda and PurePressure by Agrify for the event.

The team at California Leaf Magazine will be on-hand for the festivities, and will be posting coverage on social media as NorCal and SoCal Cannabis culture blends like mouthwatering hash and terplicious flower in a donut joint.

Here’s a list of some highlights not to miss:

The Woods WeHo Grand Opening

Beloved actor and vocal Cannabis activist Woody Harrelson cuts the ribbon on his new dispensary  on Friday in West Hollywood. A partnership with fellow celebrity Cannabis advocate Bill Maher, along with other partners Devon Wheeler, Jay Handal, and Thomas Schoos, the beautiful space is set to open its doors to the public at 2 p.m. after a ceremony at noon.
