Fans of one of the most-followed Cannabis podcasts on the planet swarmed the Penthouse Day Club in Los Angeles to toke out and stoke out at this yearly event where guests of the show gather to give listeners a taste of their sticky expertise.
First Smoke of the Day, featuring co-hosts Cody and Lance, launched this time two years ago and quickly catapulted to unprecedented success. So, at the behest of their loyal fanbase, they wanted to bring the show to life for a second year by inviting their guests out of the grows, freezer rooms, hash-making halls and beyond, to meet the people who are pining to get a taste of some of the world’s finest delights.
“Last year we were thrilled to have 800 people in attendance, and this year we clocked 1,860 family members through the door. It just warms my heart to see this kind of turnout,” says Lance.
In the coming months and years, the fan fam will appear all over the U.S. and beyond – with a wicked 4/20 brunch in New York City at an epic location in Times Square (check out fsotd.com for deets). Eventually, the lung expansion will take hold in Germany and the UK, so look out world … the gentlemen are bringing a taste of the high life to your city!
