Alice wasn’t completely lost when she asked the White Rabbit if he had seen the Duchess — she’s one of the founders! Teresa and Bruce, along with Craig, conceived this fun place back in the medical days, building it on land she already owned before the two retired in 2024. They operated successfully for 11 years and then handed over the keys to the new owner, who decided to keep the same energy without missing a step. Teresa loved “Alice in Wonderland” and wanted to celebrate the exploration of new and exciting ventures in plant medicine.
Curiouser and Curiouser
The store concept is based around the White Rabbit character, providing clues and suggestions on how to party with the Cheshire Cat and his smoking hookah. Really though, it is about a different attitude, not just about making money, but to be the meeting place where everyone can grab their goodies. You’ll see white rabbits all around the store alongside hints and quotes. Instead of happy hour, it’s called Tea Time, and you may even hear the on-theme song by Jefferson Airplane playing in the showroom.
A Very Important Date
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, this isn’t just another weed store where the budtenders are in a hurry to move you along. They take their time explaining the important characteristics of your choices, for maybe 45 minutes, because it’s about customer happiness. And there’s always a food bank collection going on where you can donate to help the hungry. Drop it off anytime, and they’ll make sure it gets to the right place. Hey, you might even know some of the crew. Craig has been there 10 years, and Christa has been there for nine! In fact, staff tenure averages seven years.
